The Needham Community Council is a non-profit organization whose only sources of funding are contributions from individuals and local businesses. This funding underwrites a variety of services designed to meet the needs of our residents, including:
If you have supported the Council in the past you know how good it feels to be part of the sixty-seven year tradition of "People Helping People" in the Needham community.
If you are unfamiliar with the Council, please take a few minutes to get to know us. Together we can make our town a better place to live.
A contribution from you will help the Council continue to expand its current programs as demand increases, as well as develop new programs as the need arises.
Please make a donation today. Large or small, we need and appreciate every gift.

Holiday Outreach Program - benefited 700 people last year!
The Holiday Outreach Program serves those in need whatever their age - gift packages for those in nursing homes and elderly living alone; new toys and warm winter clothing for children; and holiday turkey dinners for families served by the Food Pantry. Preparing the gift bags is a real community effort - children help decorate the bags and adult volunteers deliver them. Council programs brighten the holidays for hundreds of people. You can ensure that on one is forgotten.

Medical Equipment Loan Closet - Nearly 500 people borrowed equipment last year!
Anyone can break a leg! People of all ages used our Medical Equipment Loan Closet this year - borrowing everything from wheelchairs and crutches to walkers and bathseats. These items are needed for a short time only and people are delighted that they can borrow them at no charge. Your contribution will help keep the closet stocked with equipment in good working condition.

Transportation Programs - 3,000 rides provided last year!
A big part of my job involves matching volunteer drivers with those needing rides to medical appointments and arranging for door-to-door rides within Needham in the handicapped-accessible Courtesy Van. These services are a life-line to the many Needham residents who might otherwise be house-bound. your contributions will help keep these programs alive.
