We were just checking out all the latest news form Needham. I moved away to upstate N.Y. (Rochester area) after getting married. My parents are visiting from Needham this week and wanted to check out the news they are missing. Anyone graduate from Needham High in 1982? Keep up the great work, the page is great!

Great job! I feel so proud you love Needham as much as I did growing up. I've added this to my "favorites" list--I might even set it as my default startup page...how about adding the train schedules as a link from something like "Public Transportation" ? (Or maybe there already is this information and I haven't found it yet.) By the way, I'm an Internet and Mutlimedia Producer, if you ever need additional help...keep up the good work!

A fine vehicle for saying HELLO to my old home town. Left Needham to join ARMY 1939. Retired here in Sacramento in 1959.I would have graduated from Needham High with the class of 1938 had I stayed in school. Is there anyone around that remembers that far back?

regards to all, Don Colton

Have enjoyed your website. Delightful community, I am very familiar with it.

Question: where did Needham get its name? I (we) a group of Nees from around the world are researching our name and and associations. Nee, Ney, Niadh are ancient Celtic names that appear in many countries. The names of Needham and Neville, amoung others are derivative of the name Nee in many of these countries; hence our curiosity.
If you could provide us with a little background on the person or community it was named for, we can carry on from there.

Ours is a serious, but fun, amateur historical project, hope you can help us out.

Regards
Martin Nee

Pretty impressive.

I was hoping to get more information on park/pool hours - fees involved.
What the amentities are: bathrooms etc. What can we bring to parks, grills, games - volleyball badmitton, things like that.
Where can I get passes to pool. Can I get them at the pool daily. What about guests, how many allowed, cost.
Keep up the good work though.
Thanks.

Impressive. I was surfing the net to see if there were additional sites for newcomers clubs. Our club, the Cherry Hill (New Jersey) Newcomers Club, is losing popularity FAST. We have a web site but new members to our community refuse to pay our minimal membership fee or lead events. It's nice to see that other towns are active and support their communities.

Pretty sharp. I just got Front Page about two days ago. Have been trying out different WYSIWYG programs for about a year and FINALLY decided to go with FrontPage. I'm impressed with the pages I've seen out there. Checked yours off the Microsoft link for winning a contest. Well, I gotta go, oh, liked the Dorothy sound bite! :)

Keep up the good work!

Just started exploring, but we are interested in the history of Needham and wanting to find out if relatives were on the Mayflower or were Pilgrims.

Very nice to see that Needham has reserved its spot on the Net. I was an exchange student in Needham, and graduated NHS with the class of '89. I'm now a senior computing consultant at the fifth largest university in New Zealand - a lot of which I credit to what I learned during my time in Needham :-).
